About The House Crowd
Property values can fall. Your capital is at risk & returns may vary. Read our Risk Warning.

The House Crowd was founded in November 2011 by Frazer Fearnhead and Suhail Nawaz. It was the first property crowdfunding platform in the world and has helped give rise to an industry that is now forecast to grow to $250 Billion by 2020.

We strive to present what is basically a dry financial product in a light hearted, ever so slightly irreverent way, whilst educating and entertaining you along the way. We do not believe investing for your future needs to be boring, but, rest assured, beneath the colourful cartoons, we take our business very seriously indeed. We work exceptionally hard to deliver the best investments and provide you with an exceptionally high level of service.

The House Crowd 'CRISPS' Charter
(inspired by Clarissa's love of crisps):

Cash flow
We believe in putting money in your pocket not gambling on speculative capital growth.

If we make a mistake, we will make amends not excuses.

We do what we say we will do, when we say we will do it. Always.

We don't do insurance backed credit default swaps or other confusing banking style shenanigans. We provide straightforward, easy to understand investments with predictable returns.

We love buying it, love developing it. It's in our blood and we wholeheartedly believe it's the best way to secure your financial future.

Social Responsibility
Yes we like making money, but we do it in a way that helps others by building and renting good quality housing.

It's always nice to be recognised for our achievements. These are some of the awards we have won over the last few years:
